Day 1 : Fez – Ifrane – Azrou – Monkey Forest – Ziz Valley – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast, we will leave the city of Fez and travel to the dunes of Merzouga. To arrive, we will head towards the Middle Atlas, and visit Ifrane, known as the Switzerland of Africa. The next town where we will pass will be Azrou, “the rock”, where we will stop to observe its forest and see the monkeys in freedom. Following the road through the Tizi Talghemt or Camel Neck, at 1,907 meters of altitude and where the relief is impressive since the mountains are completely bare, and it seems that they are covered with a purple coat. We will arrive at Errachidia and in the crossing we will be able to observe the massif of Tafilalet,
We will continue the path through the palm grove of Erfoud. This will be where we will continue our way along the track until we reach the famous sand dunes of Erg Chebbi near Merzouga. We will change the traction of the 4×4 by animal traction. The dromedaries will take us into the desert to contemplate an unforgettable sunset. This night will be special, in the dunes we will sleep in nomad tents (Jaimas) as the Berbers do. Before, we will enjoy a Berber dinner, music and a starry sky like you have never seen before. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 2 : Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – The Todra Gorges- The Dades Valley

After breakfast, we will go to Rissani to visit the market and its famous burros parking. It is a unique place, where all the nomadic tribes of the desert come to supply themselves. It is a very curious visit. Then we will travel to Erfoud where we will visit the fossil quarries with more than 380 million years old and continue along the road until we reach the famous Todra Gorges, a favorite place for climbers and trekking lovers. We will finish our journey on this day in the Dades Valley. Courtesy dinner and accommodation at the Hotel.

Day 3 : The Dades Valley – The Valley of the Roses – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech

We will go to the Dades Valley through the Route of the Thousand Kasbahs. We will pass through the Valley of Las Rosas where its inhabitants make creams, soaps, and rose water. The next stop will be in Ouarzazate, and there we will visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou (Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). In this spectacular setting, several famous films have been filmed, such as Gladiator, Astérix and Obélix, and Sahara by Penelope Cruz, among the most famous. Once the visit is made, we will go to the mountains, follow the road, cross the Tizi Ntichka gate (2,260 masl) of the High Atlas, and finally to Marrakech.
