Day 1: Tangier – Volubilis – Meknes – Fes.
3 days Tangier Marrakech desert tour departure: Early morning, we will pick you up from your Riad/Hotel or the port of Tangier. Our drive will take you to the Roman Ruins of Volubilis. The archeological site of Volubilis was established in the 3 century AD covering a range of 42 hectares. we will proceed with our adventure to one of the four Imperial Capitals of Morocco, Meknes which is built by the Sultan Moulay Ismail. We will stop to see Bab Mansour’s door, and afterward drive through the huge walls of the Royal Palace to the Royal Stables and Granaries. At last, we continue to Fes where we will spend the night at a riad or hotel.
Day 2: Fes- Atlas Mountains – Ziz Valley – Merzouga (camel trek and night in tent).
In the morning around 7 am, you’ll start traveling southeast to Merzouga via Azrou and Errachidia. Your first stop will be at Ifran, referred to as “the Switzerland of Morocco, and then to Merzouga via Midlet and the Ziz Valley. During this journey, you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at the famous cedar forest – the largest in Morocco – where you may well sight Barbarian apes. You’ll notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Er Rachidia. After lunch, your journey continues along the luxuriant Ziz Valley, stopping for panoramic views along the way. We will drive through welcoming Berber villages to Rissani, the foundation of the Alaouite dynasty – the current ruling royal family in Morocco. Arriving in Merzouga at the end of the day, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad. after relaxing few minutes in Merzouga, we go to the camels who are waiting to take us on an adventure in the sand dunes. We will spend the night in an equipped camp with drums and music in the middle of the Sahara, we go to high dunes to see the sunset, and we will spend the night in nomad tents.
Day 3: Chebbi – Merzouga – Todgha Gorge- Dades gorge- Ouarzazate- Marrakech.
Wake up early morning to enjoy the sunrise on the top of the dune in the Sahara Desert then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can shower. We depart towards Tineghir passing by Erfoud and Tinejdad. Have a break for lunch. In the afternoon, we will continue to Todra Gorges via Tineghir. Stopping along the way for photos and admiring the views. Arrive to Todra Gorges to enjoy its marvelous Canyons views while hiking on foot. Later on, we drive to Boumalne du Dades or KalaaM’gouna and stop for a panoramic view of dades valley. Then make your way to Marrakech via KellaaMgouna, Ouarzazate, and High Atlas Mountains. Arrive in Marrakech around 6 PM.
